I have been a practicing psychotherapist since 2009. My work began in community mental health working with a wide range of people and problems. I also have experience working in maternal mental health, crisis response teams, and acute psychiatric care. My practice is informed primarily by Internal Family Systems therapy and EMDR, with additional training in intense dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, and somatic interventions that influence my work. My practice is unique in the offering of integrated complementary or alternative practices (like reiki, IET, or shamanic healing) alongside the traditional evidenced based modalities named above. The Complementary and Alternative Interventions are informed by an integrative theoretical framework that incorporates the fundamental beliefs rooted in Transpersonal Psychology, Jungian Psychology, Biofield Theory, Structural Dissociation Theory, Psychodynamic, Attachment, Polyvagal, Humanistic Theory and Biopsychosocial-Spiritual Social Work. This means you get the best of both worlds and clinically sound care.

My practice offers a holistic perspective that integrates spiritual and mystical dimensions of the human experience (Transpersonal and Jungian) and uses a biopsychosocial-spiritual framework in treatment. I believe in the principle that all beings have an energetic dimension known as the Human Energy Field, and that symptoms relate to imbalances (Biofield theory). I believe consciousness is seen as an energy within the physical body, and parts of the self can become dense or dissociated due to external influences (Structural Dissociation), manifesting as thoughts, emotions, sensations, or even disease. This denser energy maintains separation and dysfunction, affecting perception and interactions.
As a therapist and energy healer, I intervene at various levels—thoughts, emotions, sensations, and psychosomatic manifestations of energy patterns. I use my presence to perceive and reflect my client's patterns both in their outer world as well as in their internal nervous system (Attachment and Polyvagal), bringing awareness to points of dysfunction and dysregulation. In a co-created space, we will increase awareness and insight into undesirable energy patterns (Psychodynamic, Jungian, Transpersonal), using various holistic & clinical strategies to deconstruct or repattern their energy in healthier ways.
In my clinical practice, I assess and create treatment plans with these concepts in mind, honoring my client’s need for self-exploration, authenticity, and individuation (Humanistic). We explore their past to understand development and relevant experiences (Psychodynamic), present life, and desired future, implementing interventions at levels of mind, body, and spirit. The result is that clients learn skills to manage current symptoms while healing the roots of their issues. This empowerment fuels motivation for continued healing, improved daily functioning, and success in reaching their goals.

Clinical evaluation that determines if an emotional support animal is clinically appropriate and a support to your well-being. Property managers, landlords, and college institutions often require tenants to provide documentation to accept an animal on their property. ESAs are not considered service animals, but can help support individuals with things like anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress, and emotion regulation and do qualify for protected status under Fair Housing Act. This evaluation will include a 60 minute structured interview, completion of symptom assessments, and will provide an ESA letter that meets applicable legal and housing requirements.
